Prysmian in China is presenting with the following activities:

In China, Prysmian focuses its business areas on Power Utilities, Industry, and Telecom, which includes the product scope of High Voltage Cable, Medium Voltage
Cable, Control Cable, Signal/instrumentation Cable, Telecommunication Optical and Copper cables,
and Accessories. In terms of the target sectors, Prysmian is targeting in the areas of Marine,
Airport, Railway, Rolling Stock, Coal Mining, Offshore, Petrochemical, Wind Farm, Utilities,
Telecom Operators.
Prysmian (China) Investment Company Limited
In May of 2008, Prysmian (China) Investment Company Limited was established in Beijing of
China as a Headquarter of Prysmian China. Prysmian China is controlling and leading all the Chinese
companies/businesses.
The HQ has a registered capital of Euro 55 million. It acts as a local investment vehicle that
will be responsible for develop, negotiate and implement the investment projects in China. It also
centralize the management, administration, marketing and sales of the existing companies and
provide to the expertise assistance in technology, accounting, legal, marketing, sales, financial,
human resources and other aspects in a more efficient and cost efficient manner, This will enable
Prysmian to make quicker and more efficient management and investment decisions. Furthermore, the
company also acts as an instrument for Prysmian to have better communications with the governmental
authorities and its business partners in China.
Prysmian Baosheng Cable Company Limited
The company established as a joint venture in 1999 with Jiangsu Baosheng group, Prysmian
Baosheng now is one of the most successful HV cables suppliers in China market with a total investment of
over USD 30 million.
Equipped with state of the art production equipment and testing facilities, Prysmian Baosheng
has a high quality product range that includes medium voltage cables ranging from 6 kV to 35 kV and high voltage cables ranging from 66kV to 500kV. All
products are produced under the prestigious ISO 9001 standards award.
As well as providing the products themselves, Prysmian Baosheng is also able to offer a range
of value added services to its clients. It can supply and install a comprehensive range of medium
and high voltage accessories. Prysmian Baosheng is able to provide a system design service for
underground power cable applications, and offer a turnkey cable system service which includes designing, manufacturing, installing and commissioning a total package for our
clients.
Prysmian Angel Tianjin Cable Company Limited
Prysmian Angel Tianjin Cable Co., Ltd. established in 1992 as formerly Tianjin Angel Co., Ltd.
In 2006, Prysmian purchased assets of Angel Group, and established Prysmian Angel Tianjin Cable
Co., Ltd. Prysmian Angel’s three manufacturing plants are located in the Tianjin New Industrial
Park.
Prysmian Angel product portfolio is mainly concentrated in special precision cables such as
instrumentation, control, analog & digital signaling cables, thermocouples extensions and
computer cables. The applications of Prysmian Angel’s products focus on with this extensive range
demand the highest quality. For instance, nuclear power plant, defense, offshore, petrochemical,
railway signaling and others where high technology associated with performance reliability are
essential to our customers.
Prysmian Tianjin Cables Company Limited
Prysmian Tianjin Cables Co., Ltd. established in 1995. In 2007, the company moved to Xiqing
Economic Development Area, Tianjin. The new plant occupies around 60,000m
2, of which 20,000m
2 workshops covered area. The equipments available in plant allow manufacturing a wide
range of high quality MV power cables suitable for both domestic and export markets. Prysmian
Tianjin manufactures XLPE insulation power cables up to 110kV, Special cables and Rubber cables up
to 20kV.
Prysmian Tianjin manufactures a wide range of products which applying in Railway, Rolling
Stock, Wind Farm, Nuclear, Mining, Oil & Gas, OEM, Marine and Shipping, and other Industrial
area.
Prysmian Wuxi Company Limited
Prysmian Wuxi is one of the largest telecommunications cables producer in China. The factory
focuses on the production of Optical Fiber Cables that are installed by tier 1 telecom operators
and FTTX network infrastructures. The Plant can manufacture all the range of Optical Cables, from
small cables for premises applications to the 432 fiber Ribbon cable deployed as the main backbone
cable.
Optical fiber cables have entered into the domestic market, and the company
recently became one of the major suppliers to the Chinese operators, the company also exported to
Europe, Australia, South American and East South of Asia.
Prysmian Wuxi has obtained got “Product Certificate”, “Network Access License for Special
Telecommunications Equipment in Electric Power System”, “Certificate of Network Access for
Broadcast Equipment, State Administration of radio, Film & TV, P. R. China”, “UL Certificate”, “
ROHS Testing Report” for optical and copper cable. It also has obtained ISO 9001:2000 certificate,
ISO 14001:2004 certificate and TL9000 (4.0 edition) certificate
Prysmian Cable (Shanghai) Company Limited
Prysmian Cable (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. is the cable accessory business unit of Prysmian
China. With accessories imported from Italy, France, USA and Holland, Prysmian Shanghai can
offer products from 10kV up to 500kV to the Chinese market.
The company has a warehouse in the Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone in Shanghai with local kitting
facilities. This enables Prysmian Shanghai to provide prompt delivery to its customers to
meet their demand.
Prysmian Shanghai also possesses a highly professional installation team. The
engineers are trained and qualified by headquarter technical and engineering experts. We
offer complete supervision and installation services on our products.
